With our Explore Kaçkar Mountain you will be able to explore Kaçkars in depth. With this tour, you will both cover most popular destinations in Black Sea region and also reach up to the Kaçkar summit by hiking. You need to love hiking if you want this tour since it include long hiking routes which are easy and safe. You will meet with locals, experience highland life and relax in nature with this tour. Confirmation of Group Tours

Welcome to Trabzon

We welcome you at Trabzon Airport and transfer to the hotel. If you come earlier and feel OK, we may have a visit to down town Trabzon. Experience local life in Trabzon around Meydan Park, Uzun Street, and Maras Avenue. Have rest at the hotel and be ready for tomorrow. Overnight at TS Gold Hotel Trabzon

Highlight Sumela and Uzungöl in Trabzon

We will visit most popular destinations in Trabzon. First, let’s directly drive to Sumela Monastery. Drive along the Altındere Valley to reach Sumela. See amazing monastery up to the mountain. The monastery is still under renovation and we will be able to see partly. We will go inside but we will just see a general view. Then, we will drive back to Trabzon. Let’s stop by Maçka to have a Hamsiköy Sütlacı (rice puding) for beak. Then, let’s drive to Uzungol which is one of the most popular lake in Turkey. Walk around the lake, stop by Uzungol view terrace to see the lake from terrace. Then, let’s drive to Artvin Yusufeli Olgunlar. Overnight at Olgunlar Pension

Hike to Dilberdüzü

Have a nice breakfast and be ready for hiking. We pack our bags and camping materials to the mules and start to hike from Olgunlar to Dilberdüzü. On our way, stop by Nastaf Highland at 2400m. Then, reach to campsite at Dilberdüzü at 2900m. We set tents and camping units at campsite. Have lunch and dinner prepared by cooking staff at campsite. Hike around and feel the beauty of the nature around. Rest and be ready for challenging following day. Overnight at Campsite in Dilberdüzü in a Tent

Hike to Kaçkar Summit

Are you ready to reach the peak? If so, you need to get up very early and have a quick breakfast. We pack up and have lunch box with us. Let’s start to climb up at 5:00 am in the early morning. After 45 min walking we reach to Deniz Gölü at 3450m. Enjoy beautiful Deniz Gölü (Sea Lake) which is known as the second deepest lake at highest point. Then, continue our way up to the Kaçkar. After 45 min, we reach to Decision Point at 3600m where participants need to make a decision whether continue to the peak or not. In the last phase, we go upper through challenging ways to the Kaçkar Peak at 3937m. Spent 30-40 minutes there, take pictures and feel the honor of being so high! Then, we start to go down carefully to Dilberdüzü. Overnight at Campsite in Dilberdüzü in a Tent

Trans Kaçkar to Ayder

Today, we will transit from the South side of Kaçkar to the North side of Kaçkar. Starting from Dilberdüzü, hike to Dibedüz, cross Kaçkar mountain and see beautiful lakes around. Have your lunch box on the way and enjoy pure nature along the way. Then, reach to Yukarı Kavron. Our driver will be waiting for us there. Then, we will transfer you to Ayder Highland. Enjoy Hamam in Ayder at Hot Spring Thermal facilities. Overnight at Ayder Köroğlu Hotel

Enjoy Ayder and Fırtına Valley

We will spend day in world's paradise. We will continue to discover the most popular destination in Turkey, Ayder highland. Walk around the highland as much as you can. See the Gelintülü Waterfall. Stop by local restaurant to have popular local food “Muhlama”. Go higher to Gallerdüzü to see the beautiful forest. Then, lets move to Tar River and Bulut Waterfall then which has 2 km walking way (4 km in total) through the peaceful nature. Visit Çamlıhemşin. We will stop by Senyuva Village and have tea/coffee at famous Çinçiva Cafe. Then, we will visit historical Zilkale (Zil Castle) and then see beautiful Palovit Waterfall. Afterwards, we will drive up to Pokut Highland. Stay at very nice family run highland wooden hotel! Have Mrs. Ayse’s delicious local dinner. Taste delicious Yayla Sütlaç there. Listen local music instrument bagpipe (gayda), called tulum from local people and practice local dance “horon” with them Overnight at Pokut Orion Boutique Hotel

Discover Pokut and Sal Higlands

Today, we will wake up over the clouds up to the mountains. Watch beautiful sunrise in the morning. Have very popular highland breakfast at hotel. Then, walk to Sal Highland after the breakfast. Spend time at local cafe and have tea or fresh milk there. Go around the highland and come back to Pokut. Walk up to the top of the mountain, stop by sunset cafe. Swing over the clouds. Then, hike around the Pokut, discover the other side of the valley in Pokut. Then, move to Çamlıhemsin and stop by historical Ottoman Bridges over Fırtına river. Experience Seslikaya Village and Trasfer to Airport

We will continue our tour with Seslikaya village, where we will have unforgettable experience to see local village life and visit local family and see ancient village houses. See tea gardens and collect tea. Meet with local people there. You can have an optional jeep safari through the mountain and down to the rivers. Then, we will transfer you to the airport based on your flight schedule. On our way to airport, we will stop by special Rize Cloth Workshops and Trabzon Surmene Knife Manufacturing Museum. You can both experience the art and enjoy shopping there. The Blacksea is the homeland for the tea producers as well. We will have a quick Tea Factory trip as well. Transfer to the airport in Trabzon
