If you are willing to experience local life and see amazing nature of the Black Sea, you are welcome to our Kaçkar Highland Boutique Tour. In this tour, we try to be away from commercialized areas and mostly focus on highlands far from crowds! In 6 days, we will visit 14 amazing highlands and also see some waterfalls, rivers, historical castles, and bridges. Meeting with local people, listening to local music of bagpipe (tulum), practicing local dance (horon), and tasting organic Black Sea food are some of the highlights that makes this tour exceptional. You will not only relax but also enjoy in Black Sea highlands. If you also wish to visit other popular destinations of the Black Sea such as Uzungol, Karagol etc. you can customize the tour based on your plans as well. This tour is available for private choices.

Welcome to Black Sea

We welcome you at Trabzon airport and transfer to the hotel. If you are staying at a hotel or cross Sarpi Border from Georgian side, we can also welcome from the desired location. We need to be ready for the tour tomorrow. Have rest at the hotel. Overnight at Ayder Köröğlu Hotel in Ayder Highland

Explore Ayder, Avusor, Huser Highlands

Let’s start our journey to discover the most popular destination in Turkey, Ayder highland. Walk around the highland as much as you can. See the Gelintülü Waterfall. Stop by local restaurant to have popular local food “Muhlama”. Go higher to Gallerdüzü to see the beautiful forest. If you wish go to Ayder Thermal Bath in Ayder. Then, lets move to Tar River and Bulut Waterfall then which has 2 km walking way (4 km in total) through the peaceful nature. Then, let’s drive up to Avusor Highland. See Avusor Lake and hike around Avusor highland. Meet with local people. Listen to voice of peaceful nature there. Then, let’s drive up to Huser Highland. Visit popular swinging area at the top of hill in Huser Higland. Enjoy beautiful view of Huser Cloud Sea. Feel your independence there and swing over the clouds. Then, wait for beautiful sunset. See amazing sunset view from Huser. If you would like to experience camping in Huser, we can camp there. Explore Pokut and Sal Highlands

Have a nice highland breakfast with fresh milk and highland made organic foods in Huser. Then, drive to Çamlıhemşin and Şenyuva Village. See historical bridges there. Stop by popular Çinçiva Cafe and have a nice tea with in nature by the river. Then, drive up to Pokut and Sal Highlands. First, stop by Sal Highland. See original wooden highland houses in peaceful environment. Stop by highland cafe and taste their original sucuk or yayla sütlacı (highland puding). Then, hike to Pokut Highland inside the forest. Walk up to the top of the mountain. Swing over the clouds. Then, hike around the Pokut, discover the other side of the valley in Pokut. Spent time in peaceful nature! Watch beautiful sunset from Sunset Cafe! Meet with local highland shepherd, local villagers, etc. Stay at very nice family run highland wooden hotel! Have Mrs. Ayse’s delicious local dinner. Taste delicious Yayla Sütlaç there as well. Listen local music instrument bagpipe (gayda), called tulum from local people and practice local dance “horon” with them. Explore Hazindağ, Amlakit, Palovit, Trovit, Elevit Highlands

Have a nice breakfast in Pokut and move to Hazindağ Highland crossing peaceful forests. Hike around Hazindağ, stop at a highland cafe and meet with local people. Then, drive to Amlakit Higland. Spend some time in Amlakit. Have local lunch in Amlakit Highland. Refresh in the river which crosses in the middle of highland. Afterwards, let’s move to Palovit Highland. Spend some time in Palovit Highland and then move to Trovit Highland. Walk around highland and see cows and goats around highland. Then, move to Elevit Highland. Overnight in Elevit Highland House

Discover Çad, Çiçekli, Gito, and Badara Highlands

After a nice highland breakfast in Elevit, let’s drive to Çad Village and see beautiful nature of Çad Valley. See popular Çad Arch Bridge, walk along the river, stop by cafe near the river and have coffee. Then, let’s move to Çiçekli Highland. Visit historical castle Kale-i Bala. Then, drive back to Çad valley and move to Boxwood Forest on our way to Gito. Walk inside the foredt and relax with the peaceful river. Then, drive up to Gito and Badara Highland. First, stop by Badara Highland. Hike around highland and see Badara lake. Then, move to Gito Highland. Participate in local dance (horon) and bagpipe (tulum) activity at night. Interact with locals there. See beautiful cloud sea and sunset from the top of Gito. Overnight in Hozbuncuk Dağ Evi in Gito

Explore Zilkale, Polovit Waterfall and Transfer to Airport

Today is the last of our tour. Based on your flight schedule, spend some time in Gito. Then, drive back to Boxwood Forest and then to Palovit Watefall. Refresh under beautiful Palovit Waterfall. Then, drive to Zilkale Castle. Visit historical castle from 3rd century BC. Enjoy amazing nature view from the castle. Then, drive to Çamlıhemşin. Stop by local bazaar and shop. Then, transfer to airport.
